Rebecca Vigil has been improvising since 1999. She has been a member of the Main Stage Company of The Space (formerly Ultimate Improv) in Los Angeles and National Comedy Theatre(NCT)in New York, and is the creator and lead singer of the fully improvised rock band 'The Vigilante'. She is one of two founding members of the two-prov group 'rebecca AND ron'. She is the newest member of 'Macguffin'. She was also one of the creators and main performers of the two person improvised musical 'Your Musical' which performed monthly at Improv Olympic West in Los Angeles. From California to New Zealand, Rebecca has traveled across the world teaching and performing improv.
Nick Carrillo was born and raised in El Paso, Texas were he participated in theatre all over the city. Eventually he would leave to attend the College of Santa Fe were he received his BFA in acting. He was a member of the 'Underwear Society' sketch group in college which held sold out midnight performances. Nick came to New York where he studied at Lee Strasberg school for TV and
Film. He was in the Off-broadway production of 'West Side Story'. Nick currently studies at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and has been taught by Ari Voukydis, Joe Wengert, Charlie Todd, Michael Delaney, Anthony King, and Shannon O'Neill.
Nick performs regularly with The National Comedy Theatre and his sketch groups 'The People's Sketch Association' and 'MacGuffin'. Beer is a good way to win him over.
Josh Hurley was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. REALLY. He graduated in 2007 with a BS in Acting/Directing from Idaho State University. Stage credits include The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon), Man of La Mancha (Sancho) , and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. Josh is a co-founder and proud member of his hometown troupe 'The Comedy Project'. He has trained with UCB in Toronto and NYC and has studied improvisation under the direction of David Stork, Ari Voukydis, Rick Overton, and Armando Diaz.
Josh can be seen in the upcoming Touchstone film, When in Rome, and has appeared on the TV show, Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Josh is a member of National Comedy Theatre and performs with the comedy troupe 'MacGuffin'.... and he loves to dress up like Groucho Marx. REALLY.
Langston Belton is a New York based actor who has been studying the
art form of improvisation for two (2) years. He has performed in numerous shows
including West Side Story, A Few Good Men, and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
at the Gerald Lynch Theatre.
Langston has previously performed with HAprov!, a
short form improvisational group based in Times Square and is super excited to be part of
Mike began his life as a comedian in 2005 where he worked for the Philadelphia Phillies as a crowd entertainer performing on-field sketches and general silliness. In 2008, after relocating to the NYC area, he was hired to perform with HAprov!, a short form improv troupe based in the heart of Times Square.
After a year of performing Off Broadway, Mike left to pursue his formal education in long form improvisation from The Magnet Theater and The Peoples Improv Theatre (The Pit) where he studied with acclaimed teachers such as Armando Diaz, Rebecca Drysdale, Rachel Hamilton, Alex Marino, and Karen Wight.
Mike has performed with NYC based improv troupe 'Trapper John' since its conception until he parted in mid-2010 to move on to greener pastures.
Mike has appeared on such shows as Gossip Girl, Law & Order, Cupid, and Mercy. In addition, Mike has performed at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, the Del Close Marathon and the Toronto Improv Festival.
He believes that live comedy should be enjoyed with friends and he attributes his love of comedy to his father.
Ron Hill has trained with, and is an alumni of, New York City's Gotham City Improv , formally known as The Groundlings East. The Groundlings serves as the comedic birthplace of notable greats WIll Farrell, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Kristen Wiig, Jack Black and many more.
Ron is a cast member of Ha! Comedy Club located in Times Square, and National Comedy Theater (NCT) (aka Manhattan Comedy Theater) located in the heart of Manhattan, and has had several appearances at the famed Caroline's Comedy Club with Rebecca Vigil in 'Rebecca and Ron'. He is a member of 'Heater Michael Hill' and can be seen performing regularly at The People's Improv Theatre (The Pit), The Tank and Gotham City Improv where he has shared stages with Rick Overton and David Stork.
Ron's comedic style may be described as highly physical and character-based. Ron is the creator of RoosterCOMICS, a touring improv comedy company, and adds to his credit Improv instructor for RoosterCOMICS, National Comedy Theatre (NCT) and Gotham City Improv. Recently, Ron has worked with HBO in their promotion of Martin Scorsese's Boardwalk Empire and can soon be seen in his ad for Crate and Barrel.
Currently based in New York City, Jack Carter has been performing improv comedy across the country for over ten years including performances at Caroline's and Gladys' Comedy Room (both in Manhattan), The Improv (Los Angeles), Wit's End (Westminster), and at Comedy Works (Denver) where he earned 3rd place in their Annual New Talent Contest (2003).
In addition, Jack enjoys theater performances and stand up comedy, and has been the feature and headliner for Stand UP at Jazz @ Jacks.
Jack has studied Advanced Acting and Improv Classes at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts under Edith Weiss.
Originally from Colorado, Anthony Rheimer is an Actor / Comedian currently based in New York City.
Anthony also serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
Anthony manages to keep his Improv skills sharp as a resident Comedian of National Comedy Theater (NCT). Anthony also enjoys Commercial work, making regular appearances in television spots for Evenflo, Ritz Camera and Scottrade. Anthony's television/film work includes spots for Rescue Me, Chasing Zero and Celebrity Ghost Stories.
Anthony recently taught "auditioning workshops" at the Florida Thespian Festival in Tampa, Florida and at the California Thespian Festival.
During the Summer of 2012, Anthony will also be part of the repertory company at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival where he will be playing Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing and Reverend Tooker in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
